Raj Ghat

Raj Ghat, in New Delhi situated on the Mahatma Gandhi road is the memorial; which is dedicated to the Father of the Nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or Bapu as he was lovingly called. Mahatma Gandhi gave his all to get independence for India and this memorial with black platform is the perfect tribute to this great leader. The peace and greenery that surrounds the place will make the tourists feel the presence of the principles of Bapu. Hey ram –the last words spoken by Mahatma Gandhi are inscribed on the memorial. Special prayer sessions are held at the death and birth anniversaries of this immortal leader of Indian independence struggle.
