Located to the south of Delhi Qutub Minar is the world’s highest brick tower. Built in 1193 AD this tower is a perfect example of the Indian and Islamic architecture and is a unique landmark not only in Delhi but also in India. The complex has many other majestic buildings including the first mosque to be built by Sultans of Delhi. The Iron Pillar is another marvel which has not got rusted for almost 1600 years. The Alai-Darwaza welcomes all the visitors to this Minar. Qutub Minar can be reached easily by buses, autos or taxis and its wonders be explored by the tourists.
