Although most people like a very traditional and classic wedding, there are others who prefer to add a little more spice to this seemingly ordinary occasion. These are people with a somewhat adventurous side in them. If you are one of these adventurous people, you might have a good time having your ceremony on Independence day, with an Independence Day themed wedding. A wedding such as this would have patriotic decorations scattered around the venue. If you are feeling extra patriotic, it might be fun to have only food that is red, white and blue. The venue should resemble something patriotic, such as the room where the Declaration of Independence was signed, or the light tower of Paul Revere's house. The groom could be dressed either a completely blue suit, a completely red suit, a completely white suit, or any combination of the three. The bride, since it is truly every girls dream, could be dressed in a traditional long, white dress. The invitations for a party such as this could be very creative. You could wrap the wedding invitations in small American flags and mail them as such. Also, if you'd like to be a little more creative than simply a traditional wedding invitation, you could have song cards, which would sing the date, time, and location of the party to a patriotic tune, possibly My Country 'Tis of Thee. Whichever way you choose to distribute your cards, this is sure to be a very fun and patriotic day.
